The Art of War Everyone knows who the Romans and

the Mongols were, but few people know of how great the Muslim armies were.

Not only were the Muslims proficient in combat, they were also superior to others in how they dealt with their subjects.

The Muslims were strong in battle but they were also honorable in how they fought.

The Romans Amassed a huge empire spanning 3

continents. Used basic battle strategies very

efficiently. Eventually caused its own collapse

through infighting and corruption.

The Mongols The Mongols were some of the most

savage people to ever roam the Earth.

They terrorized any that they conquered, burning crops, killing livestock, and enslaving civilians any time they invaded an area.

They used dirty yet brilliant tactics to defeat their enemies on the battlefield.

THEIR FALL The Mongols rarely held onto one area

for long. They were often overthrown by the

people they were ruling over, due to their lax laws regarding religion and their general unwatchfulness of their subjects.

China and Russia are some examples of how this happened.

The Muslims The Muslims were often outnumbered

whenever they fought, but they almost always prevailed.

They were given divine aid from Allah SWT in the form of Angels, wind, etc.

Unlike the Mongols, the Muslims were very humane whenever they conquered an area, not cutting trees, hurting animals, or hurting civilians.

Allah’s Help During the battles of Uhud and Badr,

Allah SWT sent Angels to fight alongside the Muslims.

During the battle of Al-Ahzaab the Muslims were helped with winds as well as angels.

Khaled Ibn Walid Khaled Ibn Walid was one of the best

military commanders of all time. During Ghazwat Uhud, he showed his

military prowess by sneaking through their defenses, almost annihilating the Muslim army.

After he embraced Islam, he went on to become one of the most valuable assets in the army.

GHAZWAT MU’TAH  Ghazwat Mu'tah was where Khalid Ibn

Walid showed his military prowess as a Muslim commander

The Muslims selected Khalid as their leader after their first 3 leaders were martyred, Ja'far Ibn Abi Talib, Zaid ibn Harithah, and Abdullah Ibn Rawaha. This shows that it was known that he had a talent for warfare.

It is said that during that battle he fought so hard that he broke seven swords.
