January 4, Friday Henry took me to Wilkes Barre, went to see Dr. Porneray. Paid him 2.50. Paid H S Smith for work on incom tax for the Lewis & me $50. We came home ? Dallas Noxen & Beaumont. January 5, Saturday Went to Lake Carey & Lemon and La Grange Paid Frances to date $6.00 January 6, Sunday Stanley and Betty took dinner with us. Went to church. Pam went pack to school. Gave her 10. January 19, Saturday Henry and wife, Granny and I went to Wilkes Barre and bought Henry an old table from Sam Laidachor 16.00. It was Henry’s birthday present from Granny and me. Mrs. Louis M. Hall of Towanda died born Dec 14, 1871, died Jan 19, 1935. January 20, Sunday Rained part of the day. Went to the Falls & Lake Winola. Stanley & Betty took dinner with us.

Henry and I went up as far as South Montrose and found the fire was out. Started to snow about 4pm and snowed hard all the rest of the day.
