to evolve as a group, but set out to redefine

ourselves and our standards. Our backstory,

our look, our sim, and our structure have all

changed, and our mindset towards fair and

dynamic combat has grown.

We left a mark this year, making it a year to

remember - and while pictures never tell the

whole story, the story they do tell is worth the

time spent.

The Assault class is the epitome of the grunt, the

shock force, the basic infantry unit. Assault

Infrastructure staff spends hours each week gaining

the superb soldiers that make up the Merczateers.

Delegates and Corrections Assistants, this

division has grown to become a solid, identifiable force

within the Merczateers. Handling diplomacy and

discipline through a peer-to-peer basis, Auxiliary helps

ensure that grunts don’t feel overlooked, as well as

keeping groups informed of initiatives and events.

Lurdan Huszar paves the paths for the

Merczateers with a balancing act of group

leadership and community diplomacy.

With a penchant for building and steady

hand in many first person shooting games,

he leads the management of the

Merczateers and manages to have plenty

of fun along the way.

Running Operations and the

Merczateers is no easy task, but

Anthony Lehane does it everyday, and

still squeaks in time to develop his skills

as an excellent sculptor and texturer. He

is also the brains behind the storied

history of Anacaspia and its graphic

design.

Delila Shippe is entering her

3rd year in the Merczateers

and commonly, although

begrudgingly, answers to

“mom”. Besides her oversight

work, she enjoys acting as the

group photographer, and

hating on trolls who sing “Hey

There Delilah”.

Fyrina Dreamscape has a

role in nearly everything in

the Merczateers. A pro at

mediation, and an excellent

role model in community

diplomacy, she also works as

an Operator and assists in

many administrative areas.

Nexii Malthus is the end-all-be-

all of computer quasi-geniuses

who speak a language most of

us can’t begin to understand. In

addition to scripting an entire

SL browser aimed towards the

combat community, Nexii

scripts many of our weapons

and is the head of the Chromes

project.
