sites, you will experience the other side of

France : a wonderful place to deepen and en-

large your spiritual roots.

Mary Magdalene arrived on the shores of the

French Mediterranean coasts right a3er the Ro-

man persecu�ons of the year 45. From the boat

debarked a group of friends united by the same

faith in Jesus whose divine dimension they had

just experienced a few years prior.

The seafarers, Mary Magdalene, Lazarus, Zac-

chaeus, Mary-Salome, Sara, and some others,

were forced to start a new life there : a life of

prayer, medita�on, tes�mony, mercy, and spiri-

tual friendship. By doing so, they transformed

the des�ny of that then Cel�c region of the

world called Gallia (Gaul), later known as

France. Even today, Mary-Magdalene’s spiritual

imprint is unqiue and a large number of pilgrims

s�ll pray to her or rely on her to enlarge their

understanding of God’s mysteries and to dee-

pen the conversion of their Heart.

With a touch of French gastronomy, the unique

atmosphere of some wonderful ancient sites,

and many friendly encounters, you will remem-

ber this journey as a true jewel for your soul.

- 2:00 PM : High-speed train (TGV) departure : PARIS - NÎMES (2h50) or PARIS - AVIGNON (2h40)

- 4:50 PM or 4:40 PM: Arrival in NÎMES or AVIGNON and welcome by your driver

- Transfer by coach to the Hotel 4*

Day 2 : Tuesday, Septembre 17th

Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

(40mn) - Guided tour of the city where Mary-

Magdalene landed after being expelled from the Holy Land right after the roman persecutions of the year 45. She travelled in an abandoned boat through the mediterranean sea with a group of other disciples and friends among which : Lazarus, Zacchaeus, Mary-Salome, Sara (Mary-Magdalene’s servant).

Sainte Baume mount (one of the last primary forest in Europe) to go to the cave *

- Discovery of the cave where Mary-Magdalene spent her last 30 years (thousands of pilgrims come to the cave each year)

- Moment of prayer and medita1on

- Road to Saint-Maximin (40 mn) and lunch there ; or lunch at La Sainte-

Baume and road to Saint-Maximin.

Saint-Maximin

- Visit of the church where the 1st bishop of Aix-en-Provence, Maximin, buried Mary Magdalene’s body.

- Moment of meditation around Mary
