The Lost Titans
Story Introduction
The Titan of Light, Hyperion, and the Elder Titan, Ophion, escaped from
their prison in Tartarus many eons after their defeat to the Olympians.
They fled to the realm of Ouranos and started a new world, but could
never agree who should lead. Every hundred years, they clashed in heated
one on one combat, for the right to rule the land. Ophion, remembering his
time as the first ruler of the Titans, grew frustrated at having to share the
leadership. He became a god of anger and darkness. One year ago, they
met again in battle, but Ophion decided to cheat, and brought his
strongest disciples to turn the fight in his favor. To cement his victory, he
sealed Hyperion's body away in a dark palace, and divided Hyperion's soul
into four pieces, hiding them in four secret caves.
Word of this treachery has reached the City of Light, Hyperion's capital,
and the young generation has seized upon their destiny to restore their
deity and prevent eternal darkness.
