WOMEN’S RETREAT

Come Let us Return to the Lord - Day Retreat, led by Cheryl Spaulding (Morning Star Ministries). At the Capuchin Retreat Center in Washington Township from 8:30am to 4:30pm on: Monday, June 22. The retreat is offered to women who want to get away from the busyness of life and set aside time to draw near to the Lord. Our theme for 2015 is: “Bringing our Hearts to Him.” Mornings are structured and afternoons are designed to spend personal time with the Lord. Cost: $40.00 per person and includes a Continental breakfast and full lunch. Private rooms are available for an additional $15.00. THE LORD’S SUPPER

Here our Lord gives to us His own Body and Blood

for the forgiveness of all our sins

Our Family celebrates The Lord’s Supper on the 1st

& 3rd

Sundays of

the month, confessing that our Lord feeds us with His very body and

blood for our forgiveness. Please read carefully:

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at Grace in the confession and glad confidence

that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine

but His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the

forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and one another.

Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin,

and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us,

that they may show forth His death until He comes.

Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do

so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the

faith which is confessed at the Altar, any who are not yet instructed, in

doubt or who hold a confession differing from that of Grace and The

Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the

Sacrament, are asked first to speak with the Pastor or an Elder.

SUMMER SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY

Lee Strobel “Case for Christ, Faith, and Creator” series

Each session will begin with a 10 to 15 minute video clip from

the movie/ documentary adaptations of the original books, followed by

study guide questions and discussion.

TUESDAY MORNING MEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Book of 1 Peter

As it says in Hebrews 13:14, “For here we have no lasting city,

but we seek the city that is to come.” As Christians we are

sojourners here on our way to our heavenly home. Come and

join us as we explore the message of Peter, encouraging the

early Christians to be patient in their suffering and circumstances

and live as people of hope!
