room or expand into all available spaces.vTo reserve your date, a $500 deposit is required ($300 is applied toward food purchase). The deposit is

nonrefundable, but $200 will be returned if no damages occur.

vA minimum food purchase of $350 is required as well as a $75 room rental fee.vA bartender is available for $20 per hour. Additional

bartenders or wait staff would also be $20 per person per hour applied to the bill.

vSleepy Hollow also offers many outdoor activities, which will make your rehearsal dinner fun and memorable.

At the Lodge at Sleepy Hollow, we have two large banquet rooms on separate floors available for your special event. Depending on layout of tables, each room seats approximately 80 people, and up to 180 guests can be accommodated if both rooms are rented. Main-Floor Banquet Room: This room is handicap-accessible and has a full bar area. A covered deck is also on this level with additional seating for 40. Upper-Level Banquet Room: A 15-foot vaulted ceiling gives this room a bright, airy feel. This room also features a dance floor. The Village: A 13-acre Tudor style village with unlimited capacity and potential. Beautiful and secluded, a perfect place for a large outdoor event.

At Sleepy Hollow, we’re as particular about the food and drink for your special day as you are. We’ll work together to select the perfect meal to satisfy both your guests and your budget. We have an extensive menu and wine list to make your event memorable. Sandwich or Hors d’Oeuvres Menu: If you’d prefer lighter fare than a banquet dinner, we offer an assortment of delicious hors d’oeuvres and tasty sandwiches. Entrée Menu: Our entrées include a wide variety of choices—from prime rib and steaks, chicken, fish, and vegitarian options. Prices range from $15 to $25 per person. Wine List: We have an extensive wine list.

Sleepy Hollow requires a minimum food purchase of $500 to reserve either the Upper-Level Banquet Room or the Main-Floor Banquet Room; a minimum food purchase of $700 is required to reserve both rooms. In addition, there is a rental fee of $250 per event (whether renting one or both rooms). There is no minimum purchase required for bar service. Bartenders are $20 per hour. If you would like more than one bartender or additional wait staff, a charge of $20 per staff member per hour will be applied. wedding in our vineyard or Renaissance village, the covered deck, or one of our two indoor rooms.

vThe Upper-Level Banquet Room is especially popular for ceremonies; it provides seating for up to 60 guests and features a picturesque view.

Receptions Catering Pricing

For couples who prefer a simple setting for their

wedding, the Upper-Level Banquet Room makes an

excellent choice. Spacious and elegant, this room can comfortably seat 60 guests

for the ceremony.

Catering at Sleepy Hollow runs the gamut from

sophisticated hors d’oeuvres to sensational entrées

to simple-but-satisfying sandwiches. No food or

beverage may be brought into the facility (with the

exception of specialty items such as wedding cakes).

The Main-Floor Banquet Room easily

accommodates up to 80 guests. The adjoining

outdoor deck on this level can shelter another

40 guests seated at tables. The UpperLevel can seat 80 for

dinner.

SleepyHollowIf casual elegance defines your style, then the Lodge is the perfect place to hold your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, and more. Set in a scenic 60-acre complex, the park is filled with mature trees, hills, and even a meandering creek. Sleepy Hollow is located just southeast of the State Fairgrounds on Dean Avenue, between Des Moines and Pleasant Hill. The Lodge offers a charming setting, whether you use one or both of the indoor banquet rooms or the outdoor shelter. We also have an amazing Renaissance Village that can be used for ceremonies, or use the covered shelter for a summer wedding. The charming backdrop of an old english village will transport you to a magical place on your special day. You can have a ceremony or reception in the village any time, but for added charm, hold your event during the Des Moines Renaissance Faire the first three weekends in September.
