We thank God that Myisha Waterdown obeyed her Lord through: confessions, repentance and baptism. Let’s make sure and show Myisha the love and encouragement she needs as she starts this important journey of her life. We serve a wondrous and glorious God! Can you believe that we are already in the last week of January? In fact, a week from today will be February 1, 2012. You know what that means? This is going to be another fast paced year and it is going to be over before we know it. Brethren, I hope we all strive to make the most of every day in life. The reality is, life is but a vapor, so we need to make sure we are giving God our very best each day. So how are your New Year’s resolutions coming? Are you doing pretty good so far? Are you taking a little more time to focus on those things that are most important, such as God, His Will and obedience? I also hope we are giving more time to family and friends, so that others may always see Christ in us and desire to know and obey His will, also. Let me also remind you that this Sunday is our 5 th SUNDAY CONTRI- BUTION! Everything over budget this Sunday will go toward the Television program, so that we may tape a new series of songs to replace our old tapings; as well we need to help cover some production costs left over from last year. We are a blessed people of God and if we all dig just a little deeper this week, Lord willing we will be able to keep this good work going to the glory of our Creator. Well we just started a new quarter out at the BIM. This quarter I am teaching “Church History,” which is one of my favorite courses; as well I am teaching Greek 3. All of our students continue to do a great job and we are thankful for each and every one of them. I am especially proud of brother Allen and the great job he is doing. Please keep this good work in your prayers, as well as its supporters and instructors that it may continue to do great things for God throughout this area and the world. Finally, let me challenge us all to put God first and be ready for Worship this Sunday. How blessed we are to assemble as God’s people to praise and magnify His Wondrous Name. Furthermore, what an encourage- ment it is to each of us to come together and worship God. Won’t you be present and give God what He is worthy of? I look forward to seeing you all then! Have a great weekend and God bless. *Ray Sullins*

Elder's Corner:

Greetings from the Elders at K.E.: As announced, this coming Sunday there willbe a special 5th Sunday contribution that will gotowards the "Living Word" program. Throughoutthe years the program has received most of its sup-port from area congregations and individuals whowant to see this program continue. The programcontinues to be a useful tool in the spread of thegospel in our area as well as providing a valuableservice to our brothers and sisters in Christ who areunable to attend services throughout our area. ThisSunday, if we double up on our contribution, we willtake care of the present needs of the program. Thankyou for considering this evangelistic need at thistime. What a blessing to have Myisha Waterdownadded to the body of Christ this past Sunday morn-ing after services! She has made the decision to obeyChrist and has made a commitment to serve Him forthe rest of her life. We welcome her to the family! Continue to remember our loved ones in yourprayers. Whenever you would want to meet with us,please feel free to contact us. We love you in theLord. Let's continue to work together to reap thateternal reward.
