CAMPAIGN

HyundaiLove from above

It is important to show the ones closest to you that you love them to make them happy and Hyundai’s recent campaign stunt did this, and it was out of this world. Literally.

In a video that is guaranteed to give you goose bumps, the brand delivers a loving message from daughter to father – from earth to space.

The epic ad even broke records as the largest tire track image ever made. The scale of production is vastly impressive but it is the human emotion that it is rooted in that leaves you with that warm, happy feeling.

CHARITY CAMPAIGN

BAP: Bicycles Against Poverty

Happiness can come in many forms, and it can seem the simplest thing to some.At 7-years old Muyambi survived Malaria because his neighbour owned a bicycle and was able to quickly take him to hospital before it was too late. Realising how lucky he was, given how few people in Uganda own bikes, he later set up Bicycles Against Humanity.

The charity sets out to fight poverty by enabling wider access to bicycles. Even though it’s a simple vehicle, it represents ‘freedom, empowerment and opportunity.’ They give the poor access to markets to trade, access to schools to learn and access to clean water to live.

PRODUCT INNOVATION

EmoSPARK:

EmoSPARK is an artificial intelligence that becomes part of your house and exists to make you happy.

It has both functional and emotional features; on a practical level it connects to your WIFI and performs all the usual software-based tasks – sort of like a real life Siri. But the device also responds to your mood because it recognises human facial expressions, remembering what makes you happy or sad.

Do robots hold the key to human happiness? We might need more convincing on this one…
