Liskerrett Community
Centre based in Varley Lane,
Liskeard.
Join us for afternoon tea at our
fund-raising fashion show
Our fund-raising efforts continue this
month with a fun fund-raising fashion
show. The show starts at 3pm on Saturday
28th April.
We shall be featuring pre-loved clothes
from our pop-up shop, and will have
clothes for all shapes and sizes although
not children’s.
Tickets cost £6, bookable in advance, and
the price includes a sumptuous afternoon
tea.
After the show there will opportunity to
browse the rails and purchase items. Telephone 01579 340307 to book or call
in to our reception.
Remember our fund-raising pop-up shop is
open on Tuesdays, Wednesday and
Thursdays from 10.30am to 2.30pm
throughout the year. Donations of items
to sell always welcomed.

Have you ever wondered what the universe might
sound like? Or look like? Or feel like?
Leading artists across dance, music and film explore ways
to articulate exactly that, offering a unique insight into
their working processes in this exciting and experimental
triple bill from Mayes Creative celebrating our connection
with the stars.
DEEP SPACE is a significant new work created by
artists working at the cutting edge of media, arts and
scientific ideas on space and time. Inspired by data from
cosmic rays from distant galaxies - captured as they strike
Cornwall from space and continue on through our
Planet - DEEP SPACE is the culmination of exciting new
collaborations between groundbreaking musical outfit
Michelson Morley, dance artist Lois Taylor, and eight
professional dancers, costume designer Andrea Carr, and
film and live visuals practitioner Joanna Mayes.
AURORA BOREALIS, a brand new work directed by
Lois Taylor and performed by dancers from the
community drawn to the idea of responding through
movement to the magic of the Northern Lights.
MUSIC FOR THE NIGHT SKY, an exciting
partnership between Sounds Vital and Patrick Bailey of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, working with a
wealth of locally-based dance, film and music practitioners
and supported by BSO and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Promise of Departure is a double bill created by
Panta Rei Danseteater and Teater Innlandet from Oslo,
Norway, in collaboration with British dance maker
Rachel Erdos.
A work that explores vulnerability and strength, it seeks
the promise of connection and the departure from our
comfort zone.
