① backrest The Lingo's injection-moulded plastic honeycomb backrest structure is made up of recycled and virgin plastic. Honeycomb air cushion technology provides the ultimate strength to weight ratio.

② armrest Spore fixed arms are manufactured with polypropylene by means of injection moulding process. Optional 2D height-adjustable arms are available.

③ seat Our patented, engineered honeycomb injection-moulded seat board is ergonomically designed to distribute pressure loads across the entire seat surface. The honeycomb air cushion technology has revolutionised body weight distribution and product longevity; to give improved long-term sitting comfort and productivity. The seat consists of material that can be recycled  — to be used for the manufacturing of other products at the end of the product’s life cycle  — conforming to our principles of reduce, re-use & recycle.

④ gaslift The seat height can be adjusted within a 100 mm range (230 mm for the Typist Draughtsman), by means of a class 4-type gas cylinder  — housed in a 50,8 mm x 2 mm steel tube. It is designed with shock absorbing effects to enhance comfort and minimise the chances of spinal injury when sitting down. Gaslift can be substituted with an optional draughtsman conversion for the Typist model only. An optional plastic bellow cover is available.

⑤ mechanism Synchronized ‘point effect’ mechanism with 100 mm backrest offset. The mechanism locks in 5 predetermined positions or point to point contact (follow me mode), with backrest ‘return prevention’ safety function. The synchronous movement of the seat and backrest allows a tilt ratio of 1:2, seat 11 degrees and 22 degrees on the backrest. Comes standard on Highback and Midback.

The Lingo Typist is standard with the Industrial Saddle Stool mechanism and caters for a swivel function only. An adjusting lever allows for easy seat height adjustment.

⑥ base Standard 640 mm injection-moulded 5-star base with reinforced steel inner ring and lattice construction. The inner steel moulded into the hub section, creates additional load bearing strength. An optional 700 mm chrome base is available on the Executive model.

⑦ castors Heavy duty castors with steel pin  — 65 mm diameter. The pin insert is an off-set load bearing type to ensure quick alignment in any direction, giving total manoeuvrability. Castors are available for hard or carpeted floors and don't rotate or dislodge within their sockets.

⑧ upholstery Genuine/synthetic leather or fabric on the seat and backrest.

warranty • 5-year warranty on all workmanship and manufactured components based on our recommended usage (an 8 hour shift per day).

care All plastic parts and synthetic/genuine leather can be wiped down with a little cold water and a damp cloth. Please also request/refer to our clean+care document for instructions on fabric.
