The beak hardens

The embryo grows and moves

wings are covered with feather

The skiull hardens
Day 15
The bones firm
Day 16 and 17
The chick turns its beak to the air all in the egg
Day18 and 19
The lungs begin to function.

The chick gets ready to hatch

The chick hatches after using the egg tooth to crack away the shell.
