Charles Cornwallis was the best as British general who lost to the american colonist. Charles who was born in

London. He was born December 31,1738 & died Oct. 5 , 1805. He died in India not long after his arrival. An

educated aristocrat with military and political experience, Lord Cornwallis served King George the

third and Britain as one of the leading generals of the Revolutionary War, where he proved himself as a gifted

strategis.
