Common pitfalls to avoid on the way
– No need to involve business early on in the process
– We can absorb/adapt cloud within our current organization, processes, business operations
– I don’t need to consider the service lifecycle or governance of cloud services
– Build an internal private cloud first, then evaluate and/or consume public cloud services later
– Workloads and applications can easily move to a cloud without modernization
– We don’t consider the cost of service as a priority
– No plan for end-user adoption
– No deliberate long-term strategy

Considerations Implementing SIAM
Strategy & Transformation
TechnologyImplementation& Integration
Process Re-engineering& Optimisation
• How does SIAM supports your strategic initiatives?
• Which set of assets, capabilities and competencies need to be developed for the organization to reach its goals.
• What solutions need to be implemented in which sequence to provide the organization with the missing capabilities?
• Which transformation steps and their sequence are needed to enable to organization to develop the missing competencies?
• Is the investment worth the expected benefits?
