Hi guys! So last week we had our annual Fall

Rally trip and I just want to say that it was

AMAZING! Thank you to all of you that went

and showed off your Key Club spirit! Sadly,

this year we did not get the coveted spirit stick

although we had a very sparkly and large post-

er along with a really catchy chant. However,

our division still did their best and everyone

had A LOT of fun! If you didn’t go this year,

make sure you sign up sooner for next year’s!

See you there!

PRESIDENT’S LETTER

Hi everyone! So as you know Fall Rally was on Sunday,

October 13th. The morning was cold and stressful, but

everyone was really excited to go to Six Flags. Time

seemed to fly by on the bus, most of us didn’t even

notice the little mishap on the way there. As soon as we

arrived, everyone got up anxiously, stoked to go on

rides. Everyone got to see all the other people from

other schools. The Pep-Rally was interesting and it was

fun for all the LTGs and District Board dressed as

animated characters. Our Division definitely had the

most spirit -- despite not winning the spirit stick. My

most memorable memory is getting my soul sucked

out of myself from El Toro. At the pictures, my neck

was whipped back completely and as for my group

mates… let’s just say they disappeared. To this day I

still have bruises on my hipbones from the

belt. But anyway, all in all it was maybe even the best

Fall Rally I’ve been to so far, (and I’ve been to three).

Thank you guys for coming this year and for all of the

Key Club spirit! I hope to see all of you at next year’s

Fall Rally as well!

PRESIDENT’S + OTHER MESSAGES

Hey guys! So although Fall Rally was last week and it was strongly encouraged that you all purchase a t-shirt to represent your club at Six Flags, it is still possible to buy one of our super rad EHTHS Key Club t-shirts to wear to any other Key Club events! The t-shirts are only $10 and black so they’ll go with everything! You don’t even have to be a member to pur-chase one! Anyone can show off their KC spirit. So if you have a friend that has an ob-session with black t-shirts, come on down to Mr. Stevenson’s room (E117) and fill out a form with your $10 ready. Also, remember that sizes are limited and are given out in a first-come-first-served fashion!

The Color Run is a marathon that started in 2011 that has been promoting happiness and healthiness by making the marathon itself a colorful event! The run-ners are able to run a 5k in which bystanders throw different colored powders at them. This year, our club braved the harsh weather including hard rain and chilly winds to not only participate in the run but also help out where help was needed! -thecolorrun.com/about/

The Hero Walk essentially was just another wake up call as to what driving under the influ-ence can do. The walk itself was fun because it was just me and a bunch of friends bringing awareness to a major issue. We talked, we laughed and at one point I carried one of them , but I would definitely encourage other people to participate in the upcoming years! -Teona McDuffie, 12th
