No community can afford to isolate itself from the world outside.

As the world globalizes, business and industry must learn to become more

globally competitive.

If we wish to develop leaders of tomorrow, we need to provide them with a more global perspective.

allow students to participate in JTA and still graduate on time.

allow students to participate in JTA and still graduate on time.

The opportunity to study abroad for one semester for as low as US$2,000 and an average of only US$5,000

JTA scholarship opportunities (our commitment: 10% of all participants)

The Next Issue: Inbound Exchange

• We cannot sustain an �exchange� program without generating inbound exchange

• We also need to provide a �global perspective� to the 70% of our students who cannot participate in Junior Term Abroad

• Major issues: • not a preferred destination for many

foreign students • our calendar doesn�t match theirs

• Our solution: • Our students are our best recruiters • Adjust to the international calendar,

offer classes that start in January • Ateneo students enroll in these

classes together with all their other classes, but do not start meeting until January

• Classes meet more frequently to make up for lost time

• Focus on social entrepreneurship

• We host approximately 30 international students per year, mostly from our French partners
