Lectionary Next weekend there will be someone in the Narthex passing out books for the new liturgical year. These small books contain all of the Sunday readings for the new year beginning the First Sunday of Ad-vent. We invite you and you family to take one or two. The books are yours to keep. Our hope in offering it this way is to offer the readings in print for Mass and allow you to prepare for Mass by reflecting on the readings at home. They are free but a very small donation can be given if you like. We will limit two per family to ensure we have enough the first weekend. The rest will be available in the narthex the following weekends. If we run out, we will purchase more. In this way, let us be more closely conformed to the Word of God.
Book Store The book store is open on Sundays after the 8 AM & 10:30 AM Mass. Advent wreaths and candles and other gifts are available for the up-coming season.
Angel Tree Saint Vincent de Paul will continue to help our families in need dur-ing this Christmas season; however, all donations for the Project will be financial. This year the families will be receiving gift cards to be used for their Christmas celebrations and children’s gifts. Please help us by making a donation of one or more $25 or $50 gift cards to the Society of SVDP Christmas Project. The Angel Tree with envelopes to hold the gift cards will be in the narthex on November 27/28. Se-lect your envelope(s), purchase the gift cards, and return the cards in these same envelopes by December 11/12 during all weekend mass-es, where an SVDP volunteer will be available to receive your dona-tion. You may also drop off your donation at the parish office by De-cember 13. Thank you for the generous financial and spiritual sup-port you have always given our Society. We appreciate all that you do to provide for our neighbors in need.
Candles/Velas There were several weeks last month that we did not have candles. Due to supply chain shortages, the glass candles are in limited supply and not arriving on time. In addition, cost have increased for the candles. In order to keep cost the same and make sure we have can-dles at all times, we will be moving to a plastic candle insert. They are the same size and same donation of $3. The glass will remain in the church and the plastic candle inserts will be replaced. You are free to offer a donation and take the plastic candle home. However, please leave the glass. Lighting candles is a devotion that symbolize the prayers we are offering for ourselves or for other people.

Thank you to Confirmation Retreat Team Thanks to Erik Diaz, Tammy Boddy and the adult chaperones and volunteers who put on the Confirmation retreat last weekend at T-Bar M. The team collabo-rated with two other parishes, Saint An-thony in Kyle and Saint John in San Marcos. They were able to share faith and offer community to the youth of our area. We are grateful for the time and dedication of our volunteer youth minis-try team and invite all youth to become apart of our program. Please keep the
youth of our parish in your prayers.
