Soldier Chapel is getting a new roof.
Construction began December 22 and is slated to be completed January 6th. No park-
ing permitted behind and along Soldier Chapel as the roofing crew is working Tuesday through Saturday.

Wednesday Bible Study Starting on February 7, 2018, Contemplative Service in Soldier Chapel at 6:00 pm followed by bible study in Conference Room from 6:30—7:30 pm
Our very own Jay Hester decorated the Guest House with Christmas Lights.
At night it (the lights) were pretty impressive. Jay said the reason for the season is Jesus, and he is looks forward to Christmas with anticipa-tion.

The photos on this page, the ladies were singing the Twelve Days of Christmas (Haw’n) version. Event was filled with good food, games, and conver-sations. Outreach gifts were given to St. Mary’s for monthly outreach to the sheltered-less community.

The Episcopal Church Women group met at the cathedral. The churches represented was Good Samaritan, Good Shepherd, St. Andrew Cathedral, St. Elizabeth’s, St. Mark’s, St. Paul’s, St. Peter’s, St . Timothy’s and of course, St. Mary of Mo’ili’ili. Attending from St. Mary’s was Larke Golaski, Gail Hirozawa, Laurie Lee and Eugenia Park.

The service began in the Marian Grotto outside Soldier Chapel
The December 8th Evensong Service inside and outside of Soldier Chapel was a celebration of two events: Distribution of Ellen Corrie’s ashes and The Immaculate Conception
The Choral Introit by the Hawaii Sacred Chorale was: When rooks fly homeward by Arthur Baynon. It was followed by the invocation and the disposition of Ellen Corrie’s Ashes.
