Accomplishments

Page 14: The Jordan Lake Partnership and Triangle Regional Water Supply Plan

• It’s in our best interest – both for the Triangle and Cape Fear River Basin – to collaborate.

• Partnership has reached out to downstream partners: PWC, Harnett, Sanford, Brunswick

• Downstream meetings/ briefings• Environmental/ business groups

Collaborating with Upstream and Downstream Partners

Triangle Regional Water Supply Plan

Page 16: The Jordan Lake Partnership and Triangle Regional Water Supply Plan

• Water use efficiency and conservation and reclaimed water will be essential to region’s future needs

• Current regional supply will meet region’s needs through 2030

• Much of the projected deficit can be met by increasing Jordan Lake allocation to several of the region’s water utilities

• If implemented, the region is expected to meet demands through 2060

• Region’s needs can be met without compromising downstream communities
