Shiddukhin: The selection of the bride

Ketuba: Is the proposal and the purchase price (mohar) for the

dowry must be established with two un-objectionable witnesses.

Kiddushin: Is the first part of a two part ceremony, this signifies

the sanctifying or dedicating of the bride to him only. (Eph 5)

Erusin: This is also part of the first, It is the announcement of the

covenant and purchase price with a ceremonial cup of wine. There

must be at least 10 witnesses who will now go and broadcast the
