Lincoln Six-Echo is a resident of a seemingly Utopian but
contained facility in the year 2019. Like all of the
inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln
hopes to be chosen to go to the "The Island" - reportedly the
last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon
discovers that everything about his existence is a lie. Heand all of the other inhabitants of the facility are actually
human clones. Lincoln makes a daring escape with a beautiful
fellow resident named Jordan Two-Delta. Relentlessly pursued
by the forces of the sinister institute that once housed
them, Lincoln and Jordan engage in a race for their lives to
literally meet their makers.

The cloth hiding the womens face and the overexposure of light creates obscurity and initiates thetheme of mystery.
The abundance of high key lighting and naturalcolours creates the illusion that the setting is idyllicand is in no way dangerous.
The dim lighting and blue overtones when themysterious man is talking is indicative of hisantagonistic nature.
The camera framing never reveals the mans face;creating further obscurity and mystery.
The mans distorted face expresses his distortedmorals and portrays him as a threat to the
protagonist. The use of the colour white when the dream
sequence is complete connotes the clinic control ofreality and creating suspense through the createdcontrast between the chaos of the dream andwaking up.

The antagonists deep, echoing voice depicts
his omnipotence and control.
