The International Welcome School, Kg to 9th, is a temporary stopover for students with limited English and low formal education, many illiterate in their native language; some struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
GOALS:Create a safe, secure and nurturing environment for learning. Accelerate students’ acquisition of English language.Improve their overall academic performance.Introduce them to US culture and school system.Increase their awareness of educational expectations & opportunities.
