• Founded in 1915 in Michigan
• Volunteer’s dedicated to serving the children of the world, one child and community at a time.
• Regular people who like to volunteer
• Have regular meetings and service projects
• Has over 600,000 members
Kiwanis International
• Cosponsor a service project or fundraiser
• Invite them to your meetings• Make them feel welcome• Ask if you can help them• Make an effort to talk to
them and they will do the same
• Make sure you have one person from Kiwanis who is your main contact person!
What can we do with Kiwanis?
Aktion Club• More than 9,000
members in over 450 clubs worldwide
• Values: Character Building, Leadership, Caring, Inclusiveness
• Designed to help adults with disabilities give back to their communities as well as become leaders
What can we do with Aktion Club?• Go to meetings• Plan an event with them• Host a celebration and invite them
to come!• Talk to the advisor first if you
want to do anything• Make it a point to always
encourage Go out and Serve
Key Club International• Founded in 1925 in California• Has over 260,000 members and over
5,000 Clubs• Core values: Leadership, Character Building, Caring, Inclusiveness
What can we do with Key Club?• Contact the club
advisor and school first!
• Attend their events• Invite them to your
events• Give them advice
on school and college
Builders Club•40,000 members worldwide•Designed to give back to the school and community•Encourage leadership development
What can we do with Builders Club?• Same as Key Club• Some special
things:– Trick or Treat for
UNICEF– Book and Coat
Drives– Reading/Tutoring
groups– Be an Adult

K-Kids• 36,000 members
worldwide• For Elementary
age students• Designed to build
relationships and develop leadership skills
What can we do with K-Kids?• Same as Key Club and Builders Club• Ways to get involved:
– Make bookmarks– Trick or Treating for UNICEF– Go Caroling (Everyone likes the
voices of little kids )– Dime Wars– Clean-up the school grounds

Tips to KEEP the Connection Strong
• Be actively contacting them at least every couple weeks
• Do a combined event with at least one of the K-Family every semester
• Schedule Interclub/Board meetings together sparingly
