• A study was given in Florida, in which it consisted of 37,000 college students.
• All of these students took remedial courses.• After study skills course was taken these
students excelled.

• College is not like high school.• The same approach to academic studies will
not work.• Students are expected to be more
independent.• College is a new encounter, in which success
should be expected in different ways.
