+Skeletal System The skeletal system supports, protects and allows the body to move. The main parts of this system are the bones, cartilage, joints, and ligaments. The bones give shape to our body, provides support, and keeps internal organs in their proper place. The cartilage connects bones, and helps with movement, and support. The joints secure bones together, and allows our skeleton to move. The ligaments determine how far joints can move, protect joints and bones, know the position of any joint in your body. This system works with the circulatory and respiratory systems to maintain homeostasis. The skeletal system works with the circulatory because, the skeletal system protects the heart ,and bone marrow produces red blood cells. The skeletal system works with the respiratory because, the skeletal system protects the trachea and vocal cords. A pathogen that affects the system is arthritis.

+ Muscular system

Allows you're body to move and be flexible. The main parts of this system is cardiac, skeletal, smooth, and tendons. The cardiac muscle causes the beating of the heart. The skeletal muscle allows you to move. The smooth muscle moves materials through the body. The tendons connect a muscle to a bone. The muscular system works with the skeletal and digestive systems. Skeletal because, skeletal muscles move bone and tendons connect muscles to bones. Digestive because, the smooth muscle is found in the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, and rectum. A pathogen in the muscular system is muscular dystrophy.

+Circulatory(cardiovascular) system Moves fluids around your body and protects it from disease. The main parts of this system is the heart, atrium ventricle, arteries, veins, capillaries, blood, and red blood cells. The heart sends blood around the body. The atrium ventricle pumps blood out of the heart. Arteries carry rich blood away from the heart. The veins carry poor blood back to the heart. Capillaries deliver rich blood to body cells and take poor blood away from the body cells. Blood transports nutrients, regulates body temperature, prevents sickness. Red blood cells bring oxygen to every cell in your body. This system works with the respiratory, and muscular system. Respiratory because circulatory moves oxygen and glucose around the body so cells can do work. Muscular because, circulatory provides oxygen for the muscles. A pathogen for the circulatory system is atherosclerosis.

+Respiratory System

People call this system the oxygen delivery system. The main parts of this system are the pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and alveoli. The pharynx carries air down the epiglottis. The larynx makes you voice. The trachea carries air to your lungs. The bronchi protects your lungs. The alveoli lets oxygen enter your blood. The respiratory system works with the nervous, and muscular system to maintain homeostasis. The nervous because, the respiratory system provides oxygen for the brain. The muscular because, the respiratory system gives the muscles oxygen. A pathogen in this system is pneumonia.

+Digestive system

Digestive systems job is to digest food. The main parts of the digestive system are the mouth, saliva, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, and the large intestine. The mouth breaks down food by chewing with your teeth. Saliva moisturizes the food. The esophagus is a tube that helps your food travel to your stomach. The stomach crushes food, kills bacteria, and breaks down proteins. The pancreas makes fluids that breaks down protein, carbohydrates, fats and nucleic acids. The liver makes and releases bile. The small intestine breaks down nutrients. The large intestine removes water from the food, absorbs nutrients, and turns food waste into feces. This system works with the circulatory and respiratory systems to maintain homeostasis. I know the digestive system works with the circulatory to maintain homeostasis because, the digestive system provides the heart with nutrients so the heart can keep beating. The respiratory because, the digestive system gives the diaphragm nutrients n order to facilitate breathing. A pathogen that affects this system is diarrhea.

+Nervous System

The nervous system controls the actions and reactions of the body. The main parts of this system are the PNS, CNS, nerves, brain, and the spinal cord. The PNS stands for peripheral nervous system. Its job is to connect the CNS to muscles and organs. The CNS stands for central nervous system. Its job is to process information. Nerves send messages to your brain. The brain sends commandments to all of your body. Last but not least, the spinal cord carries impulses to the brain. The nervous system works with digestive and musculoskeletal to maintain homeostasis. The nervous works with the digestive because, the spinal cord delivers the messages from the brain to the rest of the body. Like the mouth. The nervous works with the musculoskeletal system because, the brain sends the bones and muscles signals to move. A pathogen that affects this system is pathogenesis.
