The Homecoming Promotional video proposal / treatment This promotional video is being created to boost the awareness of the fighting event “The Homecoming” that is taking place on Saturday the 14 th March 2015. The intro of the video will let the audience know who is promoting the event “Joe elfidh in conjunction with Stefy Bull Promotions present” then it will follow up with the name of the event “The Homecoming” with the background showing a gritty British flag. The video will then display the location of Medway Park, showing a selection of shots from around the leisure centre; whilst showing the date and location details of the event. After this, footage of all of the home fighters featured on the line-up will be shown, showing various clips of them training (sparring, pad work, bag work, jogging ect) plus footage of their previous professional fights (showing only good footage from those fights) with their names appearing alongside it. At the end of the video, the Medway Park sequence from the beginning will be shown again, displaying the date; location, time; ticket price, sponsors plus promoters of the event with any relevant contact follow up on there. The video will have music playing throughout the entirety of it (music will be negotiated), while sound bites from various clips featured on screen will also be heard. Because all of the fighters on the show use Facebook, the video will be created for the sole purpose of being uploaded to Facebook, as it will amass a lot of views in a short period of time with the fighters sharing the video, alongside Facebooks like/share/comment features, allowing others to see the video at a quick rate in comparison to other platforms such as Youtube ect..

The Homecoming

Promotional video proposal / treatment

This promotional video is being created to boost the awareness of the fighting event “The Homecoming” that is taking place on Saturday the 14th March 2015.

For this project, I will be given creative reign to produce this promotional video to how I see fit, so long as it follows the narrative of the project proposal, occasionally receiving feedback from the promoter commissioning this video for their approval.

The deadline for this video to be created and uploaded to Facebook is by the 24th

January 2015

The price for the overall production will cost £200 in which a 50% deposit will be required in order for production work to commence.
