Religious Education Online Registration Opens on June 1st.
It is that time of the year for registering for religious edu-cation 1st-12th grade. You can register and pay online. The goal of our Religious Education program is to make disciples and help the children to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ themselves and with their families. We are offering classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm & on Sundays from 9:15-10:15 am and 11:45 am-12:45 pm. Registration fees: $50 for the 1st child and $25 for each additional child. We know there are many questions as to how classes will be conducted, and we are working hard to develop a plan that works. All safety protocols and precautions will be observed regarding Covid 19.
In-person registrations will occur on August 1st &
15th after all Sunday Masses.

Pass on the Good News! What good news? – The Good News of Jesus Christ and our Catholic faith! This fall, over 500 children and young people, will sign up to learn more about Jesus and the Catholic faith. Are you looking for a way to share your faith, time, and talents with others? The Religious Education Office needs you!! It has been a long tradition at Santa Cruz that our parish family has offered their time and talents. The success of our religious educa-tion program depends on the dedicated individuals in our parish willing to share their time, talents, and faith with our young church. We encourage all adults to prayerfully consider whether this ministry is right for you! All volun-teers must be cleared through our Ethics and Integrity program. We will provide training and support along the way. With classes offered Sunday mornings and Wednes-day evenings, you are almost sure to find a time that fits your schedule. As you nurture the faith of our young, you will learn and grow as well!

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) What is RCIA? (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) RCIA is a process through which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church. This consists of steps, pe-riods, and rites that make up the model of Christian Initi-ation as restored in the Second Vatican Council. Are you or anyone you know interested in exploring the Catholic Church as your church home? Have you been sitting in the pew next to your Catholic spouse for years wondering what you must do to become Catholic? Statistics show that most people respond to a personal invitation. So, this is that personal invitation and a challenge to all of you who might know someone who fits the categories above invite that person. RICA is for those individuals that are 18 years old and or older? These classes will start in Septem-ber (Thursday evenings) and conclude at the Easter Vigil.

Men’s Group Join Fr. Jesse at Nates ( 306 S Main St Ste. 101, Buda, TX ) on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM. This informal gathering of men 19 years or older talks about theology and faith.
Bishop Barron Series Bishop Robert Barron’s study on the Mass will begin Tuesday May 25 in the Youth Room. We will meet on Tuesdays to study the Mass in 6 sessions and the study will end on June 29. You can choose to attend at 4:30 PM or 6:30 PM. Each session will consist of viewing a 25 minute DVD by Bishop Barron followed by a discussion on what was covered in the DVD. Each session will last about 1 hour. Call Deacon Vince for more information.
