Rusape January 2014 Nyanga March 2014
The Wednesday Prayer Group has over the years through donations and Arti collections raised monies. The group decided to put these funds into Eye clinics. Through the offices of the Asso-ciation for the blind, hospitals, the doctors and their staff, Eye clinics in the 2 hospitals men-tioned above have been undertaken with great success. The Group funded the 2 clinics by providing Eye cataract kits, transport , accommo-dation and meals for the doctor and his staff of 14 people and other equipment which was required for the clinics to be successful. Both clinics ran for 3 days where Dr. Kufa and his team did eye tests, cataract removals and post operation treat-ments. At the Rusape clinic there were over 100 operations performed and at Nyanga about 50.
We are very grateful to Dr. Kufa and his staff for
giving their services at no cost.
