Introduction and Instructions The Hampshire School Chelsea Activities and Clubs Programme offers a breadth of exciting, engaging and innovative clubs and activities ● Some clubs are free to attend, while others come with a cost. ● Some clubs are limited in number so a waiting list will be created. ● All invite only clubs will be organised by the teacher in charge and parents will be emailed accordingly ● The club booking system will go live at 10:00am on Friday 6th September and bookings will close on

Wednesday 11th September at midnight. ● Sign up to clubs via the link: https://thehampshireschoolchelsea.parentseveningsystem.co.uk/ ● Pupils can attend one session as a trial and will not be charged. ● Pupils who attend two sessions or more will be invoiced for the whole term. ● The Fee charged will only be prorated if the Supplier cannot fulfil all ten sessions per term. He is the Head Coach of the Kids Program at Roger Gracie Academy with over 200 children currently attending his classes. The classes will cover aspects of self-defence and Sport Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Children will learn how to use body movement, the basics of balance, coordination leverage and control through games and specific positions in a safe and fun environment. It has many transferable skills which can be linked in with Citizenship lessons or Life Skills and Personal Development programmes. Some of the skills archery promotes include: self-discipline, mental arithmetic, staying calm under pressure, cooperation, following instructions, working individually and as part of a team. In order to take part in an archery session, students must adhere to strict safety guidelines, which encourages personal responsibility and consideration of the safety of others. Furthermore, involvement in active, structured activities with tangible outcomes has been shown to promote self-esteem and emotional well-being in short-term and longer-term projects.
