I looked around the room. Nothing seemed
unusual , but then a skeleton popped out with
a brick in his hand.
There was a note in his hand:
“Let’s get to work guys. We have to create a Halloween surprise.”
So, we started building the base of our display.
Mr. Sperdute, our instructor, gave us a
blueprint for what we were going to build today.
Now that we have the blueprint we can start
building the base of our display. Our team, Willy ,
Joe, Ryan, and Buttery know that it will take two weeks to
finish.
The first week we have to build the base and pillars of our display. In order to finish our project, we have to place the steel beams across the display and add carved stone to
the top. This part will finish our project.
Now that everyone is working together, we can finally see
what we are decorating. There were five of us to get the
decorating done. We were able to split up the decorating and
work load.
We used seasonal decorations because it’s the fall. We had pumpkins, hay, and
mulch to decorate the Halloween display.
We used all of these Halloween decorations, we are just two
steps from finishing the project. Now, we all got together, and we made sure everything was
straight and clean.
When we were all done, Mr. Sperdute came in and said,
“Good job, guys! This was for a Halloween contest. Keep up the good work and we’re going to
win!”
The next day, the principal judged all the displays. We felt that we had a
chance to win the contest. The winners were announced and ----
WE WON!!!!
