Q13: How do I exit the parking lot using an H PASS card?

A13: Insert your H PASS card into the credit card slot that is located at the parking lot’s gate exit, just like you would with a credit card. To exit the parking lot Precise ParkLink strongly recommends that you insert your H PASS card at the parking lot’s exit gate instead of at the pay station.

Q14: To exit the parking lot can I insert my H PASS card into the parking pay station instead of the parking lot’s exit gate?

A14: Yes. However if you choose to insert your H PASS card into the pay station instead of the parking lot’s exit gate you must leave the parking lot within the hospital’s specific grace time period (i.e. within ten minutes). If you leave after the hospitals specific grade time period, you will be required to pay the daily parking rate. To exit the parking lot Precise ParkLink strongly recommends that you insert your H PASS card at the parking lot’s exit gate instead of at the pay station.

Q9: Will my H PASS card work on the same day that it is activated?

A9: Yes. Your H PASS card can be used immediately once it is activated. If your vehicle is parked at the hospital prior to when the H PASS card is activated you must pay for parking as you normally would for the visit. Your H PASS card will be ready to use at your next hospital visit.

Q10: Can I use my H PASS card to exit the parking lot if I did not use it to enter the parking lot?

A10: No. If you did not enter the parking lot with your H PASS card you will not be able to exit the parking lot using an H PASS card.

Q11: Can I enter and exit the parking lot using two different H PASS cards?

A11: No. You must enter and exit the parking lot using the same H PASS card.

Q12: How do I enter a parking lot using an H PASS card?

A12: To enter a parking lot using your H PASS card, insert your H PASS card into the credit card slot that is located at the parking lot’s gate entrance, just like you would with a credit card.

Q15: Can I track the number of days used on my H PASS card?

A15: Yes. An activated H PASS card allows you to track your usages online. Visit www.hpasscustomer.preciserd.com and enter your activated H PASS card number to track your usages.

Q16: Do H PASS cards expire?

A16: Yes. An H PASS card is valid for one year from the time that the H PASS card is activated.

Q17: What happens to my H PASS card once I have used the number of preloaded days?

A17: Once the number of days loaded on the H PASS card has been used the H PASS card is no longer valid. To continue to use the H PASS solution a new H PASS card will need to be purchased.

Q18: Does an H PASS card contain any of my personal information?

A18: No. An H PASS card is not attached to any credit card or personal information.

Q19: What if my H PASS card is lost or stolen?

A19: Your H PASS card cannot be replaced if it is lost or stolen. If a member of an H PASS Family Option loses their card, the lost card can be blocked from the account to ensure that usages are not consumed from the lost card. Losing an H PASS card is the same as losing cash. Be sure to protect your H PASS card as you would with cash.

Q20: Can I load additional days onto my H PASS card?

A20: No. H PASS cards cannot be loaded with additional days. Once the number of days preloaded on the H PASS card has been used you must purchase a new H PASS card.

Q21: I f I have multiple H PASS cards can the balances be transferred onto one H PASS card?

A21: No. H PASS card balances cannot be transferred or combined onto one H PASS card.

Q22: Why does “Invalid Reservation” appear on the parking lot’s entry gate?

A22: If you are trying to enter a parking lot and the message “Invalid Reservation” appears on the screen of the parking lot’s entry gate, please wait a few minutes and re-insert your H PASS card into the parking entry gate. The reason for this message and delay is a reaction to your H PASS card being used to enter another parking lot within the past five minutes. As a result, the parking equipment will take five minutes in total from when you last entered and/ or exited the other parking lot to process that your H PASS card is not being used twice simultaneously.
