The outcome of the projectThe project aimed for creating of 3 new game companies and 15 new jobs. In the beginning of 2013 the number of game companies of Tampere region is 41 of which 20 have started during the project Manse Games and it has yet created 160 new jobs. Rovio’s Tampere office has succeeded in its recruiting target (25jobs).Game industry of Tampere gives now work for over 200 employees.

Turnover in total

Majority of newly established companies work on mobile platforms (iOS and Android) some with intention to diversify into PC and Console platforms. The revenue of the game companies in Tampere region estimates close to 6 million euros (Rovio excluded).
