They need to stay close to the sea for their food, so you might see them on beaches too. Diet The green-winged flay loves to eat fish. They have to dive to catch fish in he sea They need to eat at lest ten fish per day to stay alive. Now you know what the green-winged flay is like. Maybe you will spot one on holiday.
