Title: The Global Virtual Classroom (GVC) project
Background: The Global Virtual Classroom (GVC) is a collection of free, online educational activities and resources. Primary (Grades 1-7) and Secondary (Grades 8-12, or equivalent) classes and youth groups around the world that have access to the Internet and are able to use The Global Virtual Classroom.
OBJECTIVES
Goal:-To complement the efforts of governments and educators around the world to integrate technology into their classrooms and curricula.-To link their schools to the Internet in educationally productive ways. .
objectives:-To empower, enable and connect students around the world using Internet technology.-To provide students with a stimulating, positive and enjoyable environment along with the opportunity to develop skills and communication.-To collaborate through teamwork, information technology and website design.
Evaluation model & instrument
ACTION model proposed used to evaluate to evaluate the Global Virtual Classroom.
The evaluation concentrated in 3 parts:AccessibilityInteractivity and User friendless Teaching and Learning. Organizational issues
Evaluation model & instrument Access: The examiners should evaluate:
Do students and teachers have access to GVC? Requires the teacher to have a certain degree of
technical skill and knowledge in order to access to GVC.
Requires almost daily classroom computer/Internet access.
Is GVC easy to run and use? This aspect will be best evaluated using
students and teacher’ survey.
Evaluation model & instrument
Teaching and Learning: The examiners should evaluate:
Do the GVC chosen appropriately to meet the students’ needs?
Is the GVC will adapted to activities that is provided by GVC?
How successfully GVC develops the students required skills and knowledge?
Do the features that provide by GVC properly to the students and teachers capabilities?
This aspect should be evaluated by achievement test and observation.

Interactivity and user friendliness The examiners should evaluate:
Does this technology support student-content interaction?
Does this technology support student-student interaction?
Does this technology support student-teacher interaction?
Does the program easy to navigate and use? Does the program interface reflect its content? Does this technology support student-machine
interaction? Is the program instructionally designed?
Organizational Issues The examiners should evaluate:
what tutor and students responsible for: How To Motivate Students? students Be Responsible On-line what this technology provide to protect security of
course materials, communication, submitted work, exams and tests?
