REACH has the Most Advanced Payment Monitoring System in place for its members. The live payment monitoring system allows REACH to capture any late-payment incidences and inform the network of any irregularities.

All members are sent a monthly PDF of the Security Agency list, which highlights the updated status of every member. By having this system in place we are able to vastly reduce the network’s exposure to wrong- intended Express Operators and keep our striving community going.

No system is fail safe, this is why we also include a payment protection for all REACH members. We ensure that our members are paid for their efforts and that all charges due within the organization are paid off on time. To address this issue a financial protection is in place for all members to cover for disputes of up to USD 20,000.

PAYMENT PROTECTION GUIDE

Agent to submit statement of account (AR/AP) within the first 10 days of each month.

Send pre-alerts (HAWB, MAWB, and Billing) within 14 days of shipment.

Members must be updated with members payables.

Agent must pass the screening process of the network.

Agents must file a late-payment-report within 60 days of transaction.

Only network members are eligible for security claims. Expired member status in not entitled to submit claims to the network.

The network security blankets covers for invoices within a maximum of 60 days before the claim date and does not provide coverage for shipment with payment terms of more than 30 days.

Immediate dispute protection is covered to USD5,000 per member, and will increase to USD10,000 once you are 3 years with the network. Dispute protection is covered to a maximum amount of USD20,000.00. In addition security coverage is not provided for non-conformance with service levels; shippers/consignees connected with Internet mail services such as E-bay, lost or damaged cargo, invoices covered by member’s Errors and Omissions Insurance or other insurance coverage, 3rd party damages, currency exchange fluctuations, goodwill payment, illegal transactions, legal fees or interests.

Any single transaction/invoice beyond USD10,000 is not eligible for claim

Security coverage is only granted to members that have attended latestconferences. The network reserves the right to refuse any claims from members that have not attended latest conferences.

Only invoices relating to the offices/cities that are registered will be eligible to participate in this fund i.e. if the company only registers its Hong Kong office but has several other offices in China, only invoices covering freight originating from/destined to thier Hong Kong office will be considered as eligible.

The network does not cover for dispute caused by services errors.

The network only covers for freight charges.

The network reserves the right to update the above terms at any time

For payment issues that have resolved, the payer will undergo a 60-day probationary period, for purpose of payment monitoring. The Network Management has the right to downgrade payment status of members with payment issues. This is to ensure that the entire Network is kept safe.
