Stunners include a special edition Lamborghini, Bugatti’s $2.6-million Chiron and an all-new Aston Martin that James Bond himself would envy, writes Hannah Elliott JAGUAR F-TYPE SVR The Jaguar F-Type SVR is the upgraded version of the excellent F-Type. It is available as a coupe and convertible and it has a few aerodynamic improvements such as new air inlets at the front, an upgraded splitter and additional vents to allow more air into the new cooling system. BMW M2 The BMW M2 has a 3.0-litre turbo inline-six engine that gets 365 horsepower. It comes with a six- speed manual and rear-wheel drive as standard; a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is optional. LAMBORGHINI CENTENARIO The new Lamborghini Centenario is a special edition model that celebrates founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday — only 40 will be made. It's the fastest Lambo to date, with a 770 hp engine, 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Price: ^1.75 million before taxes ($1.9 million) PORSCHE 718 BOXSTER S The Porsche 718 Boxster S comes with a six- speed manual transmission. (Porsche’s excellent PDK transmission is also available.) It will hit 60 mph in 4.0 seconds. MERCEDES-BENZ AMG C43 CABRIOLET The new Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 Cabriolet has a 3.0-litre, twin- turbocharged V6 engine. It gets 362 horsepower and can hit 60 mph in 4.7 seconds OPEL GT CONCEPT Produced by General Motors, the Opel GT Concept has a rear- wheel drive and a 1-litre, 145- horsepower in-line 3-cylinder engine from the marque's Corsa and Astra line. GM says it'll hit 60 mph in 8 seconds. The Geneva International Motor Show is open to the public through March 13, 2016, Bloomberg ASTON MARTIN DB11 The new Aston Martin DB11 has a 5.2-litre V12 engine boosted with two turbochargers — a first for the British manufacturer. Dispensing with completely natural aspiration is one of three ways this Aston dispenses with tradition. Top speed is 200 mph, with a 0-62 sprint of 3.9 seconds. BUGATTI CHIRON The $2.6-million Bugatti Chiron will hit 60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds and it has a top speed of 311 mph. It is the replacement for the famous Bugatti Veyron. The Chiron has a 1,500- horsepower, W16 engine pushed by a new, two- stage, turbo-boosting technology offering 1,600 newton meters of torque. A completely new chassis is designed for improved rigidity and handling. The leather steering wheel is hand-stitched to perfection. Drivers can choose from five distinct drive modes. FERRARI GTC4 LUSSO The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso looks like the Ferrari FF, but it incorporates a novel "rear-wheel steering" function in combination with its four- wheel drive. The new car uses a Ferrari V12, 6262-cc naturally aspirated engine to achieve a whopping 690 horsepower (40 hp more than the FF). It can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 208 mph. And it has some nifty red exhaust pipes. The Ferrari GTC 4 Lusso has seats for four adults.
