security
Cloudburst‘s technical solution
Technical facilitation
Each monitoring device is built inside of a protective case to avoid damages from water and other external impacts. The devices are installed under the gully lid (manhole access), so that the antenna is close to one of the lid lifting holes to facilitate the transferring of the digital signal.
Hardware
The Monitoring Module (MM) consists of:-a lithium base 3.6V battery-a GSM module to process the sensor signal-an antenna to communicate the signal -a sensor to measure the water level.
The sensor is using an aluminium rod to harvest energy from the electrochemical reaction with the floating water.
