The Future of Everything Volume 2 By Alex Hammer 5. She is compassionate and good-hearted You might not think this after the way she “spilled the beans”on her boss Roger Ailes, how she aggressively questions some of her guests (the ones who know less of what they are talking about) and her litigator past. Viewers like Megyn because she’s nice. She’s super intelligent, but it is the nice factor which is the key to her appeal. 4. She’s truthful and fair Although she can easily be kind, she will go for the jugular when needed. Because she uses this sparingly, it is all the more impressive in regard to her restraint depicting a high level of selfconfidence. She kept the Roger Ailes information private and praised her boss while her career unfolded at Fox News. This was prudent and smart, not hypocrisy or self- serving as some have claimed. 3. She knows she’s sexy It’s not the wardrobe choices. Check out her smile from time to time. It can be quite mischievous. She is beautiful inside and out. 2. She is very self-aware This goes along with her precision. She knows how things will be perceived and precedes with her word choice accordingly. Megyn is a complex composite of complementary and even opposite traits. Tough, kind, fair, loyal, self-interested and ambitious, intelligent and down to earth. She’s a well integrated persona and person, at the top of her game (and top of the heap). Persona is a good word. You know Megyn but you don’t. This is how she wants it and it serves her well. 1. She’s headed for bigger things. She’s taken her time getting to an elite level, and seems to bask in it as she should. At the same time she seems restless, and has made comments about potentially moving on. Politics is too narrow ultimately for Megyn, just as law was. She ditched one husband to meet her higher calling (interpreting how she has discussed it) and no network will be able to permanently keep her under its wing when it becomes time for her to further soar. What is the difference between clickbait and legitimate promotion? Do superior products ultimately win in the marketplace, or do superior stories (narratives)? Is the marketplace, when all is said and done, essentially a meritocracy, or, as has been famously said, is there “a fool born every second”? I’ve got a few thoughts on this topic. Like many, I used to feel that the work stands on it’s own. People look for quality, and through word of mouth even if your product is not well known at first, a few
