DESCRIPTION
As the volume of data and number of applications moving to Apache Hadoop has increased, so has the need to secure that data and those applications. In this presentation, we’ll take a brief look at where Hadoop security is today and then peer into the future to see where Hadoop security is headed. Along the way, we’ll visit new projects such as Apache Sentry (incubating) and Apache Knox (incubating) as well as initiatives such as Project Rhino. We’ll see how all of this activity is making good on the promise of Hadoop as the future of data management.TRANSCRIPT
