THE FUNDAMENTALS OF HAPPINESS- VERSES UPON WHICH TOREFLECT

.…وال تایـسوا من روح اللھ إنھ ال یایـس من روح اللھ إال القوم الكـفرون“….and never give up hope of Allah's mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allah's mercy, except the people who disbelieve.” [Surah Yussuf (12): 87]

-إذ دخلوا علیھ فقالوا سالما قال إنا منكم وجلون -ونبئھم عن ضیف إبراھیم بشرتمونى على أن مسنى الكبر قال أ -قالوا ال توجل إنا نبشرك بغلـم علیم

قال ومن یقنط من -قالوا بشرنـك بالحق فال تكن من القـنطین -فبم تبشرون رحمة ربھ إال الضآلونAnd tell them about the guests (i. e., the angels) of Ibrahim. When they entered upon him, and said: "Salaman (peace!).'' He said: "Indeed we are frightened of you.''. They said: "Do not be afraid! We bring you the good news of a boy possessing much knowledge and wisdom.''. He said: "Do you give me this good news while old age has overtaken me Of what then is your news about''. They said: "We give you good news in truth. So do not be of those who despair.''. He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are astray'' [Surah Hijr (15): 51-56]

…إن رحمت اللھ قریب من المحسنینSurely, Allah's mercy is (ever) near unto the good-doers [Surah Al-A’raf (7): 56]

..ورحمتى وسعت كل شىء فسأكتبھا للذین یتقونAnd My mercy envelopes all things. That (mercy) I shall ordain for those who who have Taqwa. [Surah Al-A’raf (7):156]

.…ال تدرى لعل اللھ یحدث بعد ذلك أمرا….You know not, it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.

[Surah At-Taalaq (65): 1]

ن تكرھوا شیئا وھو خیر لكم وعسى أن تحبوا شیئا وھو شر وعسى ألكم واللھ یعلم وأنتم ال تعلمون “…..and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2): 216]

اللھ لطیف بعباده یرزق من یشآء وھو القوى العزیزAllah is very Gracious and Kind to His servants. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the Almighty. [Surah Ash-Shura (42):19]

إذ یقول لصاحبھ ال تحزن إن اللھ معنا ……he said to his companion: "Be not sad (or afraid), surely, Allah is with us.''...

إذ تستغیثون ربكم فاستجاب لكم أني ممدكم بألف من الملـئكة مردفین وما جعلھ اللھ إال بشرى ولتطمئن بھ قلوبكم وما النصر إال من عند -

اللھ إن اللھ عزیز حكیم(Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying): "I will help you with a thousand of the angels Murdifin.''. Allah made it only as glad tidings, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. And there is no victory except from Allah.Verily, Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. [Surah Al-Anfal (8): 9-10]

وھو الذى ینزل الغیث من بعد ما قنطوا وینشر رحمتھ وھو الولى الحمید

And He it is Who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and spreads Hismercy. And He is the Wali, worthy of All praise. [Surah Ash-Shura (42):28]

-وزكریآ إذ نادى ربھ رب ال تذرنى فردا وأنت خیر الورثین وا یسارعون فاستجبنا لھ ووھبنا لھ یحیى وأصلحنا لھ زوجھ إنھم كان

فى الخیرت ویدعوننا رغبا ورھبا وكانوا لنا خـشعینAnd (remember) Zakariyya, when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors.''. So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya, and cured his wife for him. Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and they were Khashi`in before Us. [Surah Al-Anbiya (21): 89-90]
