1.Register as self employed with HM Revenue & Customs 2.Check to see if you are eligible for new business bursaries3.Use bursary (or saved money) to purchase equipment for your service 4.Decide what service(s) you will offer5.Advertise your skills6.Network with other freelance musicians, and freelance workers from other art forms7.Explore ways in which you are able to work together with your new network8.Expand your knowledge by completing further training
