PASTOR’S PEN "PEACE BE WITH YOU" We need peace in our world, Church, Community and Homes. Jesus knew this and wished us peace when he rose from death. He prayed that his followers may be one. Peace could only exist where there is oneness. United in faith and by faith, we are likely to get along with one another. In this we give peace a chance even in the midst of misunderstanding and disagreement. You need peace as much as I do. With peaceful mind and in peaceful environment, we are able to serve the Lord and have things done. But peace is not sold in any store. We need to cultivate it and nurse it everyday. This, we can do whereby we are ready to tolerate others' view points and exhibit a forgiving-character out of love and mercy. As we give the sign of peace any time at Mass, let us work hard to promote peace in our world and in our own homes. Let us pray for the world's leaders that their policies may aim towards creation of peaceful environment for all. Peace! Fr Ussher

If you would like to volunteer to provide flowers at Immaculate Conception Church for the altar, please contact Judy and let her know when. You can volunteer for one week or one month, whatever is good for you. We are looking for flowers for the main altar and the two side altars. They will need to be in place on Saturday before Mass. These could be in memory of a loved one or just because you want to. Please consider helping out with this ministry of providing fresh flowers for our weekly Masses!
