The Food Chain Story

Page 1One day there was a girl named Kayla. She was playing

basketball with her little brother Liam. He saw a rabbit eating their garden. He showed Kayla the rabbit and then they both saw a possum attack the rabbit. The possum was chowing down the rabbit.Which means the garden is a producer and the rabbit is a herbivore and the possum is a carnivore.

Page 2When an owl swooped down and grabbed the possum. The owl

took it up to a tree and ate all of it. The owl came down from the tree and a fox sneaked up and attacked the owl. Which means the owl is a carnivore and the fox is a carnivore also.

Page 3While the fox was eating the owl, a lynx crept up on the

fox and jumped on the fox and bit it. The lynx took the fox back into the woods and chewed on the fox. Which means the lynx is a carnivore.

Page 4Then as the lynx was eating the fox, a person who was driving on the road ran over the lynx and killed it. Then a lot of crows came and started eating the meat on the lynx. Which means the crows are scavengers.

Page 5As the crows were eating the lynx and they left after they ate most of the lynx. The bones of the lynx were laying there and insects came and ate what the crows left of the lynx. Which means the insects are decomposers.
