the flying hues that fall in autumn

1
I Still Remember The flying hues that drop in fall And cold wintery gusts at night, The listless trees, stand bare ‘n tall And shelter seeking birds alight. We strolled as one the frosty ways The warmth of hearts kept us alive Together we kept on battering days Our souls both bent; old love relive Both hearts are pure molten gold— Ardent, polished, sweltering bright; I long your hand again to hold And give my heart unawed delight. Your reminiscence like a sweet perfume, Pervades my thoughts, and life consume. Rozi Khan
