• The fly is magazine set up to help promote and raise awareness of young up and coming bands it is sold for free and is distributed in many HMV stores across Britain
• It is sold monthly with and gets all of its revenue through advertising and is normally around 50-75 pages long.

• The fly’s publisher is MAMA Group which is owned by HMV where it is distributed
• It has three sections to it: • Artists services which is management of
artists.• Live Music, so the covering of festivals ect...• Consumer this includes the Fly and is
responsible for all brand activity.

• The currant editors name is JJ Dunning.• The first issue was released in 1999. • And its frequency of publication is every
month.• Its price is: Noting it is completely free and
were the first monthly music magazine to sell there copies for free.
• And is Distributed at HMV stores only.
