Name: Charlize BaptisteAge: 17-Charlize is the main protagonist in “The Flesh Eaters”- Fills the Final Girl role – last surviving character (? (as we don’t see if she really survives the zombie apocalypse in the film trailer))- Grows to fill the Hero/Leader role; see her role change during trailer to that of someone more confident
Character Profiles: Elena Smith
Name: Elena SmithAge: 17-Elena is fills the role of The Sacrifice in the zombie subgenre – in the trailer, she gets devoured by the zombies so Charlize can escape from the zombies- Buys Charlize some time by getting bitten/eaten by zombies; results in hideous death
Character Profiles: Marcus
Name: Marcus CampbellAge: 18- Fills the role of The Betrayer n the zombie film- Protagonist t- turned – antagonist; gets bitten by zombie but fails to report it to the rest of the group of friends- Dies at the hands of Tim; as someone has to kill him for all of them to have chance of survival- Amongst the first of the characters to die

Name: Jenny DixonAge: 18-Fills the role of the moronic character the messes everything up (other than Marcus – The Betrayer)- Does small things (e.g. leaves doors open by accident) that attempt to cost the rest of the characters their lives, and eventually her own

Name: Tim (Timothy) HobbsAge: 17- Fills the role of The Expert- Avid zombie game player; knows how fend for himself and the rest of his friends, knows how to get rid of the Zombies due to his experience- Responsible for Marcus’ death- Reliable source of information for the group of friends on how to survive

Costumes and Makeup
• Zombies would have fake blood around their mouths; wearing ripped/tarnished clothing, with blood also smeared on their clothing• Zombies would have pale skin; so white
makeup/foundation would be used for the people who play the zombies• Normal characters will wear modern
clothing; 21st century clothes
Iconography• Gory and gruesome• Someone gets bitten and turns into a zombie• Characters try to find a cure/way to kill them zombies forever; e.g.
stabbing zombies in the brain or shooting them in the head• Using liquid latex and gelatin to create the scar and blood mise-en-scene element here is really important; give the implication that
they’ve been through a lot of pain yet they’re still alive, to show the resilience that the characters would typically have.
