"The Flame of 'Āinahau"

I am happy to report that Maggie Perry, our Corresponding Secre-tary, is doing better following a fall that broke her little finger on her left hand (still in cast), and fortunately she is right handed. Glad you are feeling better, Maggie. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones. I know many were ill during the holiday season and I pray you are all well and ready to enjoy the New Year. Drink a lot of liquid, stay out of the rain and cold and get a lot of rest. Malama pono. Please mark your calendar for the following events: Ho`olaul`ea – July 18-19, `Aha`aina – August 15, PIF OC – September 19-20, AHCC Convention – November 7-14. More information on these and other events will be available throughout the year. (See events calen-dar at page 2) Hula practices will start soon. We
are grateful that Aunty Ulu is doing well
and will be able to help us with hula
again this year. We are blessed. We are
still looking for a new venue for the
`Aha`aina on Saturday, August 15th. If
you know of a facility that can hold up to
300, has a kitchen, stage and allows al-
coholic beverages, please let us know.
We are also looking for a new venue for
