Aloha All, So far it has been an interesting year! Just shar-ing picture from January with my sister, Melia and niece, Leialoha (both members) in the rain at the Flamingo Bird Sanctuary. It was right after surgery. Fortunately, the cast has been downsized. As previously requested always looking for interesting articles for newsletter such as profiles and recipes as was presented in the past. Keoki DeFranco may be providing an informative article in the future. His Lua Technologies is thriving and he is a new board member of Halawai (http://www.halawai.org) Check it out. Their Mission statement: Hālāwai's mission is to foster and support a community of individuals who share a common interest in the heritage, culture, history and future of the people of Hawaiʻi and other

Pacific Islands. Here is hoping 2015 brings you all the happiness and prosperity you desire. Maggie
