Student Writing Project:The writing exchange focuses on issues relating to Indigenous students. Topics include:
Traditional Foods Traditional Stories
Honoring the Elders Myself, My family & My culture
The Indigenous Global Art Exchange:Each year students complete art work on a predetermined theme. In December each group sends art work to each of the other participating groups. Each community holds an Indigenous Global Art Exhibition, featuring the art work they have received.
Humanitarian Effort:
The Humanitarian Effort is an on-going effort to assist Indigenous communities in meeting educational, social and
economic needs. It has been initiated by the Indigenous students and educators of the First Peoples Project.
