Atlantic Airways is the national airline of The Faroe Islands. The company has approxi-

mately 170 employees, a fleet of commercial aircrafts and helicopters. The whole year

around, Atlantic Airways offers departures from Denmark, Norway and Iceland to the

Faroe Islands. From Denmark they offer several daily departures and twice weekly de-

partures from Norway and Iceland. During summertime Atlantic Airways also operates

weekly to London, Barcelona and Milano.

The four star Hotel Føroyar is situated in the hills high above Tórshavn. All rooms

are newly renovated and offer a view of the sea, the town and the island of Nólsoy.

The hotel was designed by famous Danish architects Friis & Moltke.

A very special part of your stay at Hotel Føroyar will be KOKS, a new gourmet

restaurant that epitomizes Faroese and New Nordic cuisine. Leif Sørensen, hail-

ing from Copenhagen’s illustrious Kommandanten restaurant, is in charge of the

kitchen. Attached to the restaurant is a large banquet hall with seating for 600,

as well as a café that serves light snacks.

With KOKS, Leif Sørensen has created a truly extraordinary restaurant. Every table

offers a beautiful view of Tórshavn and the sea. Dishes are based on fresh Faroese

produce in combinations you will have never tasted before. KOKS is also home to

the Faroes’ largest and best stocked wine cellar. The restaurant is always happy to

Atlantic Airways operates to and from the Faroes with modern high capacity aircrafts. The whole year around

the airline offers departures from Denmark, Norway and Iceland to The Faroe Islands. There are daily depar-

tures from Denmark and twice weekly departures from Norway and Iceland.

The flying time from Iceland and Norway is 1 hour and Denmark and London is 2 hours. The flying time from

Barcelona and Milano is 31/2 hours.
