Growing Practices
Formed in 2016, Love Grows is owned and operatedby Brad Berry and Ailsa Coughlan, a couple ofwholehearted organic farmers. Both natives of BucksCounty PA, they grow at Playwicki Farm in Feasterville,PA.
To grow a more peaceful, meaningful andproductive existence by providing nutritious, fresh andlocally grown produce using regenerative and ethicalfarming and business practices.
Ailsa and Brad have grown for years using organicand regenerative practices. Synthetic inputs are notused in or around any of the growing fields. Compost,cover crops and rotational grazing feed our soil and ourfood. We are committed to making ecologically soundchoices in every possible area of our business. Webelieve that healthy land grows healthy food andhealthy people.

How It Works
Benefits/Risks
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Inthis relationship, a farm supports a community and acommunity supports that farm. No other modern systemlinks locals and farms together as seamlessly and with asmuch mutual benefit. With CSA, locals become investors, shareholders of afarm's produce by helping to offset each year's operatingcosts before the growing begins. This helps farmers tobetter focus on the intensive job of growing high qualityproduce for their neighbors. They can spend their timecarefully cultivating, enhancing and learning the landinstead of developing markets during the season. It is atwo-way commitment.
Members get the freshest, most local, and mostnutritious produce available, grown by farmers who care. Farmers get more peace of mind because a portion ofthe fruits of their labor are set to be enjoyed. Both parties assume the inherent risks of farming, suchas pest damage and increasingly challenging weather.

Rules
Doylestown Farmers Market Saturdays 8am-1pm on S. Hamilton St.
We attend April 18 - November 21 (no market September 12) Yardley Farmers Market Saturdays 9am-1pm We attend outdoor market (Buttonwood Park) April 18 - mid-October and indoor Winter market (Yardley Friends Meetinghouse)from mid-October - as long as we can! Bristol Borough Farmer's Market Sundays 11am-2pm at Mill St. Crossing Park We attend May - December Wrightstown Winter Market
Saturdays 10am-12pm at the Anchor Presbyterian ChurchWe attend December - as long as we can!
-The discount is available from April to December-Memberships are per household. Family and friends buying foodfor separate households should purchase a separatemembership.-Members can shop at any market and do not need to give noticeto farmers to do so.-$75 is nonrefundable

We accept major credit cards on the website and inperson. We are charged 3% of the purchase and 30cents per transaction to process them, so those feesare included. We accept checks by mail. Our mailing address is:
Try to pay before the plants are in the ground! Weask that members register and pay by March 31 but willaccept new members throughout the year.

Member Agreement
I agree to the terms and guides of conduct within theMember Handbook. I agree to add '[email protected]' to my emailcontacts and understand that many more updates can befound on the farm's social media accounts. I agree to keeptrack of market times/dates/locations. I understand that there is no guarantee on the exacttype/amount of produce available at markets, and that allproduce availability is first come, first served. I understand that the membership fee is an investmentin local farming and that the best way to personallycapitalize on it is to use the discount at the farmer'smarkets. I understand that the membership fee cannot berefunded. CSA members share in the inherent risks of growinglocal food on a sustainable scale (i.e. poor weather, pestdamage, etc.) and the rewards (fresh, local and organicallygrown vegetables, being a part of a caring community).Love Grows plans for these challenges by growing cropsefficiently and by working with the weather and the landfor optimal production. I understand that the produceavailable will vary depending on the season. With my CSA membership, I am supporting localfarmers and my local food system in a direct and effectiveway. I am supporting my own health as well as that of theeconomy and the environment. Love grows my food!
